Bright DoorHub considers the protection of users' personal information, especially students, to be a critical responsibility. This Privacy Policy explains how the Service collects, uses, manages, and shares information.
1. Information We Collect
a. Personal Information
- Grade / educational level
- Region / residential area
- Areas of interest
- Academic performance (general classification only)
- Preferred study locations
- Language skills (Khmer, English, etc.)
- Contact information (if provided)
b. Usage Information
- App usage history
- Pages visited and feature usage
- Device and browser information (anonymized)
c. Social Login Information
- Information obtained via Facebook or Google login (name, email, profile picture, etc.)
- Used for account creation, identity verification, and service optimization
2. Purpose of Use
Collected information is used for:
- Providing optimal scholarship, education, and career opportunities
- Service improvement and quality enhancement
- Research and analysis of student needs
- Sending important notifications
- Preventing misuse and ensuring safety
- Providing anonymized data, which does not identify individual users, to educational institutions, companies, NGOs, etc., for research and service improvement purposes
3. Provision of Anonymized Data
- Anonymized data refers to data processed in a way that individuals cannot be identified.
- Anonymized data may be provided for research, educational policy improvement, service design, and expansion of educational opportunities.
- Individual user information is not included.
- Users can opt out of anonymized data provision via the settings page.
4. Information Sharing
The Service does not sell personal information. Provision of anonymized data is limited to the purposes described above. Other sharing occurs only in the following cases:
a. With user consent
Provided to schools, scholarship organizations, or partner institutions
b. With service providers
Shared with trusted vendors under confidentiality agreements for system operation
c. Legal compliance
When required by law or necessary to protect users' safety
5. Data Management and Security
The Service implements reasonable technical and organizational security measures to prevent unauthorized access, leakage, or tampering. Social login information and anonymized data are managed similarly.
6. Data Retention
Information is retained only as long as necessary to achieve the purpose of collection and deleted or anonymized when no longer needed. Account deletion or social login disconnection will also remove collected information.

- Withdraw consent (including social login information and anonymized data provision)
8. Privacy of Minors and Students
The Service places particular importance on protecting the privacy of students and minors and does not collect information beyond what is necessary for educational support.

This policy may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be notified within the Service.
